Dormy Inn Hiroshima

Great location near Peace Memorial Park.

I found the room cramped and outdated, which diminished my comfort. The noise from adjacent rooms was disturbing. The air conditioning controls weren't user-friendly, requiring translation to operate.

Nice spa in the Hotel. Afternoon-staff was very helpfull and kind. Really thought about our wishes and gave good recommendations. Location is good; close to the A-bomb park and 2 blocks from Restaurants/shopping streets. Very good shuttle transportation between the JR station and the Hotel.

The morning-staff didn't understand I had trouble with the bed. First night felt all the springs from the matress in my back.

The location is very good being close to the peace park and main shopping , nightlife areas. The staff are very good. There's a kitchenette in the room. There are free washing machines to use. The lighting is good in the room for reading. This is better than many more expensive hotels that usually dont have these services.

Location next to all possible activities in the town, and the centre where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

The services were amazing - they had an onsen at the 8th floor (last floor) and also they have free bicycle for guests. Breakfast was good and the room was good value for the money- had everything we needed. Almost forgot- they have free shuttle buss to the train station.

Perfectly located and very reasonable prices. Five minute walk from all tourist attractions and free shuttle service to and from the train station.

Loved the spacious room with a fantastic view. The public hot bath was a highlight, and I appreciated the free shuttle service, made exploring the area effortless.

No wifi Internet access... Free computers were slow... English spoken by staff could have been better

Location is OK, Peace Park and main shopping street (Hondori) are nearby. Bus station is 10-15 min walk. Tram stop is around the corner (and the old streetcars are fun in Hiroshima). Breakfast is included and is OK, although it's mostly geared to a Japanse clientele (lots of fish, etc...). Japanese toilets are very funny, lots of "options". You'll feel like captain Kirk in the commander seat of the USS enterprise...

This was my first trip to Japan, so did not know what to expect. Most people (including hotel staff at Dormy Inn) have only a very limited command of English. I brought a "picture phrase book", which was very helpful. The pillow (large and heavy) was very unconfortable. Not related to Hotel: Hiroshima airport has limited banking facilities (ATM and Money Exchange were closed when I arrvied). Change some Japanese Yen in advance!

The hotel surprised me with nightly ramen and free ice cream, awesome treats after a long day. I loved relaxing in the onsen and sauna-they really helped me unwind. My only minor quirk was a bit of noise from neighboring rooms at night, but it didn't spoil the fun 😊

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Peace Memorial Park. We enjoyed the onsen after a day of exploring. The sweet treat of free ramen and ice cream every night. It was a nice bonus for our family, and our service dog was welcomed!

In my wife's opinion, the rooms could be a bit larger for families.

Definitevely, Dormy Inn is a very good option when you want to travel to Japan. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. The "ofuro" bath is a "must go and use" when you stay in Dormy Inn Hiroshima.
